The wait is finally over and God certainly works in ways only He understands...the 16th January saw SASEM's first principal- En Mohd Noh Mohd Yusof from SMK Kahang speaking in the assembly. He outlined his plans: SASEM's vision and mission, school with character, upgrading school facilities and networking with external agencies. He also emphasised cooperation and excellent work ethics among teachers and administrators. In his first meeting with teachers on the same day, the following points were addressed:
- MOE's vision and mission
- MOE's policies and initiatives- PBS, MBMMBI, KSSR, KSSM, IM1S, Vocational Education Transformation
- New initiatives by MOE- Trust Schools, School in hospital, English Teaching Assistants, Murid Tanpa Dokumen
- NKRA
- Teach for Malaysia
- JPNJ Strategic Planning
- Prinsip Kerja PPD Kluang
- SBP rankings in PMR 2011 and SPM trials
