Rahmah, thanks for the inspiring article. But I have a problem at school. A lot of parents are not happy about the way I teach. They want me to stick rigidly to the textbook but I cannot help making adjustments. I even drew flak for asking my students to read extracts from different novels(They accuse me for not teaching their kids properly) The Principal solved the problem by asking a teacher to replace me and I made an ignominious exit. Everyone casts me a different look now. Nobody wants to know why I decided to teach in my own way. What should I do? Apparently all my hardwork was impractical and badly received. The students still prefer learning straight from the textbook, they like games but their parents hate them. Maybe the way I handled games is not professional enough.
